Well a drizzly day today at ACCCENT HOUSE but lots of signs of spring in the garden and the village…….lots of events about to happen too :

This weekend our Mapua Makers Market, lots of school fairs coming up and of course 11th – 27th October 2017 – The Nelson Arts Festival…..a great time to visit Nelson and enjoy a few extra days relaxing/enjoying Mapua and the Tasman area before the busy tourist season hits !!

We have accommodation available through both September & October so why not plan a few days stay…..we would love to see you.

Although we are not a wedding venue, we are a great place for guests of weddings in the area to stay. We recently enjoyed hosting bride Claire and her attendants the night before her wedding, had fun watching them prepare & dress on the big day and have photos taken in our gorgeous grounds pre wedding. Even some laughs at last minute hitch when her veil escaped and required recovering!!The bride and groom then returned to spend their wedding night at Accent House.

New shed/barn nearing completion – driveway next week! Lock up space for guests cycles and motorbikes and room to work on if needed. Also a separate room with shower, toilet and laundry facilities for guests to use.
